For a short route, compare the full journey from your starting point to your destination. Airport travel, check-in and the onward transfer can make a short flight a longer trip overall. For bus booking, compare the boarding point, arrival time, seat type and operator conditions as well as the fare.
If you need an overnight stay, include that cost in your budget. When comparing cheap hotels, check the location, room occupancy, taxes and check-in time. A low room rate is less useful if the property is far from where you need to be.
Will your flight have a screen?
In-flight entertainment depends on the aircraft and the service offered on your particular flight. Some cabins have seatback screens; others may offer content on your own device or no entertainment service. A domestic or international label alone does not tell you what will be available.
