Around Ahsan Manzil, a riverfront visit gives context to the Buriganga’s working role; Lalbagh Fort provides a different enclosed heritage setting. A boat outing and a fort visit also need separate arrangements. If the trip is mainly business in Gulshan, reserve an uninterrupted block for Old Dhaka rather than squeezing it between appointments on opposite sides of the capital.
